Binge Netflix’s new 6-part sci-fi thriller global hit, trending worldwide — except in the U.S., where fans are locked out of this viral series.

A brand new 6-part global hit is trending worldwide on Netflix right now — but U.S. fans still can’t stream the viral series everyone’s talking about on the world's largest streaming platform.

This 2025 sci-fi thriller show is dominating global streaming charts — except in the U.S., where fans are locked out of this binge-worthy Netflix series. Currently, the series is #4 overall worldwide and #1 in multiple countries (via Flix Patrol).

Interestingly, this trending global hit series isn't even an original Netflix production. Still, it's only three shows behind Netflix's #1 worldwide spot, after brand new viral sensations like Stranger Things season 5 and the jaw-dropping true crime docuseries, Sean Combs: The Awakening, and Netflix's biggest new show of November, The Beast in Me.

This series would be one of the best Netflix shows to binge-watch this week – if it were available to watch in the U.S. While the world can enjoy this acclaimed sci-fi thriller right now, U.S. viewers will have to wait or find another streaming option.

Talamasca: The Secret Order Is Surging On Netflix's Global Chart

At the time of writing, the 6-part sci-fi/fantasy thriller series Talamasca: The Secret Order is the #4 most-watched show on Netflix right now worldwide. This suggests that it would be one of the top-performing series in the U.S. right now on Netflix if only it were available to stream.

Based on Immortal Universe material written by acclaimed novelist Anne Rice, the logline for Talamasca: The Secret Order reads: "Follows a secretive society which tracks supernatural beings like witches, vampires, and werewolves." The series is connected to Mayfair Witches, another Rice book series, which just dropped its second season on Netflix in the U.S. this week for the very first time.

Talamasca: The Secret Order was originally released on October 26, 2025, and received mostly positive reviews, including a Rotten Tomatoes audience score of 67%. Screen Rant gave the series 7/10 stars, noting, "Anne Rice's Immortal Universe grows with a supernatural spy thriller that's not terrible, but wouldn't be nearly as good without William Fichtner."

U.S. Viewers Can Only Watch Talamasca: The Secret Order On AMC+

While Talamasca: The Secret Order is not available to stream in the U.S. on Netflix, it still can be accessed exclusively through an AMC+ subscription. The series is expected to hit Netflix sometime in 2026, but if you are excited to see what all the hype is about for this top trending sci-fi thriller series, you have the option to binge it now on AMC+ in the U.S.

Since Talamasca: The Secret Order just released its season 1 finale before Thanksgiving, odds are that the series could end up on Netflix in the U.S. in Summer 2026. Using Mayfair Witches season 2 as an example, which dropped its finale back in March 2025 before hitting Netflix this month, Talamasca is projected to arrive on Netflix U.S. roughly 8 months after its finale aired, in August or September 2026, by that model.

Your best bet for streaming Talamasca: The Secret Order in the U.S. right now is to sign up for AMC+ rather than wait for it to arrive on Netflix in 2026.
