One of the first commitments from the Seminoles’ 2026 class has officially signed with Florida State.
DB Tre Bell III signed with the Seminoles on Wednesday after committing to Mike Norvell’s program in October of 2023. Bell first came on FSU’s radar after attending a camp in the summer of 2023 and pledged to the program a few months after. Bell was a frequent visitor to FSU, coming to campus three times for unofficial visits before having his official visit with Florida State in June of 2025. Bell did not take any other official visits after his OV to FSU, but he did take one to Auburn, the Seminoles’ main competition, in May.
Bell is currently listed as the 373rd-rated player in the 2026 class according to 247Sports Composite and the 31st-ranked safety. Listed at 6’0”, 192 pounds, Bell could either stick at safety or possibly become a nickel corner. Bell played both sides of the ball at his high school, Barbara Goleman in Hialeah, Florida.
