The New Jersey home of Eagles offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo was vandalized with eggs on Saturday morning, just one day after Philadelphia suffered a 24-15 loss to the Chicago Bears on Black Friday.
Patullo has faced a great deal of scrutiny from fans in his first season as the Eagles' offensive coordinator. The 44-year-old assistant coach has struggled to produce a consistent offensive product with quarterback Jalen Hurts and the reigning Super Bowl champions to this point in the 2025 NFL season.
Patullo said he's able to accept the criticism that comes his way, but he believes Saturday morning's vandalization crossed a line.
“We all know that part of our job is to handle criticism, and so it's perfectly acceptable to sit up here and talk about what's going on, how to fix it, what we're going to do going forward, and we know that. But when it involves your family, it obviously crosses the line," Patullo said when speaking to reporters on Wednesday, via team insider Zach Berman of The Athletic.

The Eagles' offense ranks near the bottom of the league in both yards (304.8) and points (22.5) per game. Following his historic rushing season in 2024, running back Saquon Barkley has topped 100 rushing yards on just one occasion this season.
Philadelphia has dropped each of its last two games, falling to the division-rival Dallas Cowboys before this past Friday's primetime loss against the Bears.

Despite these struggles, head coach Nick Sirianni confirmed that Patullo will remain the Eagles' offensive play caller moving forward.
“We’ve just got to execute it better and scheme it better, and that all can be true, we’ve got to call it better," Sirianni told reporters on Monday. "It’s every area that we need to improve on. That’s why we always say we look internally through all these things. Like I said to you guys, if all that’s not gelling, to me, that’s on me first. It’s my job to do whatever I need to do to help get it fixed and that’s what we’re working on right now.”
The Eagles will look to get back on track in a primetime "Monday Night Football" matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 14.
