The 2025 high school boys' soccer season has wrapped up, and it's time to vote for postseason awards.

Gray's Creek excelled to the deepest Fayetteville-area playoff run with a third-round visit, falling to Franklinton 2-0.

Cape Fear secured the Tri-County conference title, while South View earned a co-conference championship in the Eastern Sandhills for its first league title in 20 seasons.

As we take a look back at the boys' soccer season, here are 12 Fayetteville-area soccer players to choose from for the 910Preps Fans' Choice Soccer Player of the Year.

Fans' Choice Boys' Soccer Player of the Year nominees:

Emerson Alverado, Seventy-First — The Falcons' senior forward, and Eastern Sandhills Player of the Year, finished top-10 in the 6A in points with 68, nailing 28 goals.

Kobi Asante, Village Christian — Asante, an all-conference selection in the SAC as a sophomore, notched 59 points and 27 goals.

Isaac Dawson, Gray's Creek — As Tri-County Player of the Year, Dawson nailed 29 goals and scored 66 points to help the Bears to a third-round playoff run.

Patrick Guest, Northwood Temple — Guest had a loaded junior season. The striker earned fifth place in goals in the NCISAA 2A with 30 and No. 4 in points with 72.

Jadyn Gunther, Gray's Creek — Gunther dished the ball very well during the season. He only scored six goals, but he finished 14th in the 6A class in assists with 15.

Brady Kennedy, Cape Fear — Kennedy was a huge part of the conference title run for the Colts. The senior goalkeeper achieved 82 saves, ranking No. 25 in the 7A class, and No. 38 in the state in goals against average (.780).

Mario Moncrieffe, South View — Moncrieffe, the senior forward, scored 24 goals and 64 points.

Blake Oxendine, Jack Britt — Oxendine, the Mid South Co-Offensive Player of the Year, led the conference in points with 49 and scored 20 goals.

Carlos Montes Palma, South View — The junior midfielder notched 16 assists, ranking No. 10 in the 6A Class and at the top of the Eastern Sandhills Conference.

Jacob Salisbury, Fayetteville Academy — Salisbury was a force in his SAC Player of the Year campaign. The senior striker scored 35 goals, ranking No. 38 in the state, and 70 points, ranking No. 14 in all of the NCISAA.

Hunter Talley, Fayetteville Christian — Talley was an all-around leader in his senior year. He led the NCISAA 3A in goals and points with 41 goals and 119 points. He also ranks No. 2 in the state in assists with 37.

Gavril Stangle, Fayetteville Christian — The Warriors' all-conference member scored 25 goals and 67 points and had 17 assists.
