Tyrese Haliburton recently said he's a "little bit ahead" of schedule in his recovery from a torn right Achilles tendon.
The Indiana Pacers guard offered evidence Monday, Nov. 24, going off of his right foot for a dunk at a shootaround before a game against the Detroit Pistons.
That's great, but the Pacers don't anticipate him playing this season.

Despite dealing with a right calf issue for a while, Tyrese Haliburton scored 9 points in the opening minutes of Game 7 of the NBA Finals against the Oklahoma City Thunder on June 22, 2025. He made a move toward the basket with about 5 minutes to go in the first quarter and fell to the court with a torn Achilles tendon. The Pacers lost 103-91.
A torn Achilles often requires an 8- to 10-month recovery. The Pacers said on July 7 that Haliburton would miss the 2025-26 season.
