The College Football Playoff’s selection committee unveiled its penultimate set of rankings for the 2025 season during a live show on Tuesday night. The next time these are revealed, it’ll be the official playoff field.
Indiana, ranked No. 2 in both the AP and Coaches’ top-25 polls, remained at No. 2 for the fifth straight week. The Hoosiers are coming off of a bye week following a dominant 56-3 road win over rival Purdue at Ross-Ade Stadium in West Lafayette to retain the Old Oaken Bucket.

The Hoosiers have finished with a perfect 12-0 regular season record for the first time in program history, finishing 11-1 in their breakout 2024 season that included a bid in the first iteration of the playoff’s 12-team format.
Indiana currently sits at +380 to win the 2025 national championship per FanDuel Sportsbook. As a de facto lock, the Hoosiers don’t have odds to make the playoff listed.
The postseason will begin on Saturday for the Hoosiers when they make the short trip north to take on Ohio State at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
