Miami Southridge three-star interior offensive lineman Ryan Miret has flipped his commitment from Ole Miss to LSU, according to Rivals’ Hayes Fawcett.
It’s the second flip of the day for new Tigers head coach Lane Kiffin, as LSU also landed four-star tight end JC Anderson, who flipped from the Rebels as well. Miret was committed to Ole Miss since June 16, when he chose them over Nebraska and Georgia Tech, among others.

There’s been tons of fluctuation in LSU’s recruiting class in the short period since Kiffin was hired and that won’t stop this week. Miret is the latest to make the move from Oxford to Baton Rouge ahead of National Signing Day.
He and Anderson, the No. 273 recruit and No. 11 TE in the nation, give LSU two new pledges in quick succession. Tuesday has also seen longtime four-star wide receiver Kenny Darby and three-star interior offensive lineman Jalan Chapman decommit from the Tigers. Three-star WR Kervin Johnson Jr. has also flipped from LSU to Ole Miss.
There’s plenty more coming, too. It’s been expected that LSU will retain a majority of its top-15 recruiting class that was built by the old staff, but Kiffin has clearly prioritized bringing over pieces from the top-25 class he built in Oxford.

Kiffin has already met with No. 1 overall prospect Lamar Brown. The two-way lineman and five-star defensive lineman Richard Anderson headline the LSU class. They are the top two players in The Boot this cycle and two of now eight in-state commits for the Tigers.
Other top commits in the class to date include: No. 3 DL Deuce Geralds, No. 12 EDGE Trenton Henderson, No. 10 offensive tackle Brysten Martinez, No. 14 corner Havon Finney and No. 20 WR Jabari Mack.
