The Pittsburgh Steelers have just added another weapon to their Aaron Rodgers-led offense, as former Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen was just claimed off waivers.
On Tuesday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that the Steelers had claimed Thielen off waivers, just one day after his request to be waived by Minnesota.
Through 12 seasons, Thielen has caught 693 passes for 8,380 yards and 64 touchdowns. But his 2025 home-coming stint with the Vikings did not go as planned for the 35-year-old receiver, catching just eight passes for 69 yards in eleven games — as well as being listed as a healthy scratch in Minnesota's Week 13 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
