The Eagles are one of the NFL's biggest draws, but because of the Commanders' disappointing season, they will lose a prime-time opportunity. The league announced that the Packers-Bears game scheduled for December 20 in Week 16 has been moved to an 8:20 PM ET slot. Consequently, the Eagles-Commanders game will now take place that day at 5 PM ET.
The game time was previously to be determined when the regular-season schedule was announced in May.

Chicago is 9-3 and the current No. 1 seed in the NFC, while Green Bay is 8-3-1 and starting to find its groove on both sides of the football. Philadelphia will travel to Los Angeles to face the Chargers in Week 14, then host the Raiders in Week 15, before traveling to Washington in Week 16 for what is supposed to be the first of two gigantic matchups, sandwiched between a Week 17 showdown at Buffalo.
