The Maine Celtics have reportedly signed former Brooklyn Nets shooting guard Keon Ellis, per HoopsHype's Michael Scotto. The 6-foot-5 wing put up a solid 10.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.0 steals over the course of 79 games, including a total of 56 starts for the Brooklyn Nets last season.
At the NBA level, the 23-year-old's shooting has been a concern, with Johnson having shot just 38.9% from the floor overall and 31.4% from beyond the arc, but a 77.0% from the free throw line that hints his career 467.5% from the floor and 34.3% from 3 are something he might be able to produce in the NBA with enough seasoning.
