The Daily Bee: Guirassy Apologizes for Refusing to Shake Kovač’s Hand

We’re in Bayer Leverkusen purgatory. All the news is about our 2-1 win against Die Werkself at the weekend, or tonight’s DFB-Pokal fixture also against Die Werkself. Maybe we just play Leverkusen forever now. It’s certainly better than playing Bayern Munich. Lets hope we do the double against the Medicine Men tonight.

• Apparently Serhou Guirassy refused to shake Niko Kovač’s hand when he was substituted at the weekend (I completely missed this). Kovač has discussed the matter, and revealed that Guirassy apologised for his behavior after the game.

• BVB are interested in making Chelsea loanee Aarón Anselmino a permanent Dortmund player.

• Niklas Süle’s toe injury will now keep him out for the rest of the year.

Bundesliga News

• Augsburg have sacked head coach Sandro Wagner following their 3-0 loss to Hoffenheim at the weekend.

• Stuttgart are looking to beef up their goalscoring threat with Ireland’s World Cup super hero Troy Parrott.

• The anti-IMK protests going on in stadiums are unlikely to die down any time soon, especially with Bavarian politicians not helping themselves.
