Games that are too close for comfort irritate us in the moment, but once they're done, we call them classics. Sometimes, toeing the line of danger and seeing the Baltimore Ravens win anyway is thrilling and an adrenaline rush.
No one should be shocked by the New York Jets giving the Ravens everything they had. Truthfully, that's how the Jets roll. Their issue is a lack of talent. Remember, they traded two of their best players in hopes of rebranding and gaining some draft picks to help them begin their rebuild.

Then it happened. Here's our entry and recommendation for that NFL Turning Point television show. Marlon Humphrey made one of the more exciting defensive plays of this in-season turnaround to help secure victory and Baltimore's sixth win of the season.
Ravens HC John Harbaugh and two of his defenders weigh in on Marlon Humphrey's big play during a massive moment in Week 12's game.
The Ravens and Jets spent the first half of the fourth quarter exchanging successful field goals. Up 20-10 with just under seven minutes remaining, Breece Hall took a handoff in the red zone with Baltimore's goal line in his sights.

The gravity of the moment wasn't lost on anyone, especially Humphrey. Oh, and by the way, that man can do all of the podcasts he wants to this week. Hey, who are we kidding? This is Marlon Humphrey. He was going to do that anyway.
He shared his thoughts on his big-game moment when the media caught up with him after the game. He spent a few moments with the press following Baltimore's sixth win of the season.
"Honestly, I was thinking about the missed tackle I had just had a play or two before. We talk about the more shots you take on the ball, the better the odds you have to get one out, and I took a shot there, and I was able to get it out."
Alohi Gilman recovered the fumble. He also shared their thoughts. Here, Humphrey is described as "a baller," and the moment is called the "play of the game" because it "flipped the momentum back." Head coach John Harbaugh was equally impressed by the timeliness of the effort.
"Marlon [Humphrey] – and then of course, 'Lo' [Alohi Gilman] coming up with the ball – but Marlon, to get that ball out, I don't know how he did it. We were reeling a little bit; they had us on our heels. They were running the ball, they had made some plays, and we'd missed some tackles. And then he comes up – he comes up just huge. To me, that's the lion spike right there. That's the lion spike of the game right there. And then the pass rush; how about the pass rush? I thought those guys bringing it on the pass rush was good. Now, I'm disappointed in the fact that Tyrod [Taylor] got out, but we knew that, he is a hard guy to get down. That was pretty much a lot of their offense, was him scrambling around and making plays on the run. But, we got him down, and we got some pressure, especially at the end, in the fourth quarter. The fourth-quarter pass rush was a big deal."
The Ravens are above .500 for the first time this season. Now comes a short week, one where they welcome the rival Cincinnati Bengals to M&T Bank Stadium on Thanksgiving evening.
