Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola wants "special player" Phil Foden to commit his long-term future to the club.
The 25-year-old came through City's academy and is approaching 350 appearances for the senior team to date, scoring 106 goals.

"Hopefully he can stay all his career here," said the City boss, who offered no update on the progress of negotiations over a new deal in his pre-match news conference on Monday.
"He is a special player, a Man City fan, from the academy."
After his double against Leeds, the England international, who has found his form again this season having had nine goal involvements in 17 games, said he now sees himself as one of the leaders of the team.
When asked about it, Guardiola added: "On the pitch, he's always been like that.

Do you see Foden spending the rest of his career at City? And could he one day be a captain of the team?
