PWInsider reports that the word backstage at "Survivor Series 2025" was that Jacob Fatu is close to getting back in the ring. While an exact date wasn't revealed, it was noted that Fatu could make his return within the next few weeks.
Fatu hasn't wrestled since a dark match back in September due to a dental procedure. He was written off WWE TV during the Oct. 17 episode of "Friday Night SmackDown." When Fatu returns, he has a storyline ready for him where he will hunt down the person who attacked him backstage.

Jacob Fatu's Big Break
For many years, professional wrestling fans had been hoping that WWE would give Fatu a chance. While his talent in the ring was never in question, the word within the industry was that Fatu wasn't getting an offer from WWE due to his troubled past. Fatu was arrested for robbery at the age of 18.
"The Samoan Werewolf" turned things around in his personal life and said watching his cousins, The Usos, on TV inspired him to turn to wrestling. Fatu's work on the independent scene caught the attention of MLW, who signed the Anoaʻi family member in 2019.
WWE eventually brought Fatu into the company in 2024, adding him to Solo Sikoa's version of The Bloodline. Fatu was immediately presented as a top monster heel on "Friday Night SmackDown." At "WrestleMania 41" back in April, Fatu defeated LA Knight to capture the WWE United States Championship. This was Fatu's first singles title win in WWE.
Fatu has since freed himself from Sikoa's group, and he is now a babyface. There's no telling what the plan would've been for Fatu prior to his dental issues, but it appears he'll be back in time for "WrestleMania" season.
