Week 14 waiver wire: Best fantasy pickups
Brenton Strange, TE, Jaguars (32%)
The TE position is scarce in fantasy football, which is why a reliable option like Brenton Strange being this widely available is perplexing. The only way to explain this is that Strange was on IR for several weeks, and managers have not been paying attention to his return.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementWith Travis Hunter out for the season and Brian Thomas Jr struggling, Trevor Lawrence needs a go-to target down the stretch of the season. In these past two weeks, Strange has provided that.
Strange has now been targeted 9 times for eight receptions, along with 138 yards and a touchdown. He is a must-grab if you have been streaming the TE position. Brenton Strange FAAB: 15%
Christian Watson, WR, Green Bay Packers (53% rostered in Yahoo Fantasy leagues)
Since returning in Week 8, Christian Watson has been the WR18 overall in fantasy football. Yet, he is only rostered in half of Yahoo Fantasy leagues.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementThe simple explanation for this is the fear of usage once Jayden Reed returns. While that is a fair worry, Watson has played too well to be dismissed from any role in this offense.
There are a couple of favorable matchups approaching for the Packers, and some games they must win for the division. Watson should be involved in all of these and, therefore, is a viable fantasy option. Christian Watson FAAB: 10%
Jalen Coker, WR, Panthers (4%)
Coming into this season, Jalen Coker was a popular sleeper name that was being mentioned frequently. Then he unfortunately missed the first six weeks of the season.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementThe Panthers have been in desperate need of another WR to contribute consistently on offense. Coker may be stepping into that role.
Coker is coming off his best fantasy performance of the season in Week 14. Young targeted him 6 times, and he was able to catch 4 of them for 74 yards and a touchdown. Jalen Coker FAAB: 5%

Quarterback waiver pickups to stash this week
Cam Ward, Titans (8%)
Max Brosmer, Vikings (2%)
Ward continues to look more comfortable after the bye, and in deeper leagues, he's especially an interesting stash.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementWe know very little about Brosmer, but the one thing we do know is that he is Kevin O'Connell's guy. If Brosmer looks good in any way, he has some fantasy value, as he is attached to outstanding skill players.

Running Back waiver pickups to stash this week
Chris Rodriguez Jr., Commanders (23%)
Samaje Perine, Bengals (3%)
Blake Corum, Rams (16%)
The Commanders went all in on Jacory Croskey-Meritt, and he hasn't looked great. Rodriguez continues to look more explosive and is worthy of a stash.
While Perine did end up fumbling, he was given 16 touches in Joe Burrow's first game back—certainly something to note and monitor moving forward.
Corum continues to look excellent as the Rams' backup; if anything were to happen to Kyren Williams, Corum would step into an immediate increased workload.

Wide Receiver waiver pickups to stash this week
Isaac TeSlaa, Lions (1%)
Dontayvion Wicks, Packers (1%)
Kayshon Boutte, Patriots (33%)
Mitch Tinsley, Bengals (0%)
Adonai Mitchell, Jets (2%)
With Amon-Ra St. Brown potentially missing time with an ankle injury, TeSlaa becomes a fascinating stash as the Lions need to get things rolling on offense.
Wicks was spectacular in the Packers' Thanksgiving win over the Lions. The Packers' WR core is a disaster as it relates to knowing who will be featured the most, but Wicks is worthy of a stash.
Boutte has missed time and may have floated to the back of managers' minds. However, it's important to remember the upside Boutte has with Drake Maye.
While Tinsley did not have a great day overall for fantasy purposes, he was targeted nine times by Joe Burrow. If Tee Higgins misses any more time, Tinsley could find himself in some lineups.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementMitchell had his best game as a Jet in Week 13. We know the talent is there, but the Jets' offense is terrifying to trust. If Garrett Wilson continues to miss time, Mitchell may continue flourishing in his role.

Tight End waiver pickups to stash this week
T.J. Hockenson, Vikings (68%)
Mike Gesicki, Bengals (4%)
Yes, Hockenson has been atrocious for fantasy football. However, with a new QB taking over for the struggling J.J. McCarthy, there is potential for improvement.
Gesicki was targeted four times by Burrow in his first game back. While he won't ever win you your week, he's a viable start with a pair of favorable matchups in the playoffs.

Week 14 waiver wire streamers: Top bye-week sleepers to add
Consider spending a few of your FAB dollars on these one-week plays, and we'll note any Week 14 pickups who also have long-term value.
QB Fantasy Streaming Pickups
Tyrod Taylor, Jets (4%)
While it's definitely not an easy choice, you might not have many options in Week 14 with several top fantasy quarterbacks on a bye. Taylor will go up against the Miami Dolphins, who have allowed the eighth-most fantasy points per game to opposing QBs.
TE Fantasy Streaming Pickup
Zach Ertz, Commanders (60%)
Even with Jayden Daniels missing time, Ertz has stayed at least a decent option at TE with Marcus Mariota. In Week 14, he'll face the Minnesota Vikings, who allow 14.5 FPPG to TEs.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (28%)
The Bucs will face the New Orleans Saints offense in Week 14. Not only are the Saints averaging the fewest points per game in the NFL, but the last time the Bucs played them, their D/ST unit scored 26 fantasy points and was the D/ST1 in Week 8.
Kicker Fantasy Streaming Pickups
Will Reichard, Vikings (30%)
As we approach December, targeting indoor matchups becomes even more critical for kickers. Not only does Reichard get to kick indoors, but the Washington Commanders' defense has been below average, to say the least.
