Whether you’re looking to just generally be more active in the new year, planning to run a marathon, or just want to disappear into the Aussie bush a bit more often, there’s almost certainly a Garmin watch for you. Combining the features of smartwatches with a fitness-specific focus, Garmin’s offerings have the backing of a company that has built its name on some of the most accurate GPS technology in the market.

The full-featured nature of these smartwatches means they aren’t exactly the cheapest fitness trackers, but with discounts for Cyber Monday currently on offer, anyone looking for a little help reaching their fitness goals can save up to AU$631. But be quick, these deals will be ending in a few hours!

Save 30% (AU$152)Garmin Vivoactive 5: was AU$499 now AU$347 at Amazon

The Garmin Vivoactive 5 is a brilliant all-rounder with an AMOLED display and 11 days of battery life, making it a great alternative to an Apple Watch for runners and active users. The excellent Garmin Connect app can help you plan workouts and running routes, while you can follow along with gym-based exercises on the screen. It is, of course, more of a fitness tracker than a smartwatch, but it's good value even though we've seen it drop to AU$249 previously.

Our reviewer said the main downside was the ‘eyewatering’ price, so this AU$350 discount at least partially addresses that.

This is an excellent price for the Sapphire Edition but note this is for the Small (42mm) solar-charging variant, while the larger 51mm model is down to AU$999.
