Whether you’re looking to just generally be more active in the new year, planning to run a marathon, or just want to disappear into the Aussie bush a bit more often, there’s almost certainly a Garmin watch for you. Combining the features of smartwatches with a fitness-specific focus, Garmin’s offerings have the backing of a company that has built its name on some of the most accurate GPS technology in the market.
The full-featured nature of these smartwatches means they aren’t exactly the cheapest fitness trackers, but with discounts for Cyber Monday currently on offer, anyone looking for a little help reaching their fitness goals can save up to AU$631. But be quick, these deals will be ending in a few hours!
Save 30% (AU$152)Garmin Vivoactive 5: was AU$499 now AU$347 at AmazonThe Garmin Vivoactive 5 is a brilliant all-rounder with an AMOLED display and 11 days of battery life, making it a great alternative to an Apple Watch for runners and active users. The excellent Garmin Connect app can help you plan workouts and running routes, while you can follow along with gym-based exercises on the screen. It is, of course, more of a fitness tracker than a smartwatch, but it's good value even though we've seen it drop to AU$249 previously.

Save 45% (AU$453)Garmin Forerunner 955: was AU$999 now AU$546 at AmazonWe called it "the best running watch ever" back when it debuted in 2022 and though it’s since been replaced by Garmin’s own Forerunner 570, we still rate the 955 very highly – especially since it can often be had for far less than its newer sibling. It might not be in our current guide to the best Garmin devices, but it's still a fantastic multisport watch. This Cyber Monday discount makes it AU$3 cheaper than the last good deal we saw during Amazon’s Prime sale in October.

Save 45% (AU$687)Garmin Epix Pro 2 (47mm Sapphire Edition): was AU$1,529 now AU$842 at AmazonSave a packet on this Cyber Monday deal on the 47mm Garmin Epix Pro standard edition. With an updated Elevate V5 heart rate sensor, multi-band GPS and an LED torch, it's the blueprint for a modern Garmin watch: fast, accurate and built like a tank. It can handle basically any kind of outdoor activity, and has 16GB of storage for saving music and GPX maps locally – handy for when you’re off grid. This deal is on the white model, but the black is only AU$898.

Save 21% (AU$350)Garmin Fenix 8: was AU$1,699 now AU$1,349 at JB Hi-FiFor the ultimate outdoor adventurer, the Fenix 8 builds on Garmin’s past flagship offerings with an even more advanced built-in GPS, a new heart rate sensor and improved waterproofing for diving. It also features an AMOLED display, a microphone and speaker for calls, and an LED torch carried over from the Fenix 7. Our reviewer said the main downside was the ‘eyewatering’ price, so this AU$350 discount at least partially addresses that.

Save 49% (AU$355)Garmin Forerunner 255 Music: was AU$729 now AU$374 at JB Hi-FiThis fantastic Garmin smartwatch deal will get you 49% off what would certainly be a welcome addition to any runner’s gear bag. The Forerunner 255 Music has many of the core features found in Garmin’s more expensive offerings, like the built-in GPS, the ability to listen to music stored, and even Garmin Pay, enabling you to leave your phone while out running but still tap-to-pay to buy that coffee on the way home.

Save 41% (AU$631)Garmin Fenix 7S Pro (Sapphire Edition): was AU$1,529 now AU$898 at AmazonWas the Fenix 8 above still too expensive, even with the discount? This previous-gen flagship still offers many of the multisport features of the Fenix 8 but at a significantly lower price thanks to this Cyber Monday discount. This is an excellent price for the Sapphire Edition but note this is for the Small (42mm) solar-charging variant, while the larger 51mm model is down to AU$999.
