Throw of the year? It's certainly a contender.
Late in the second quarter of a Sunday Night Football showdown with the Washington Commanders in Week 13, Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix made an incredible play that quickly went viral on social media.

Amazingly, Nix released the football just before his knee hit the ground, and it was an 11-yard strike to wide receiver Courtland Sutton to take a 13-7 lead just before the break.
Here's a sampling of how fans and pundits reacted to the impressive play on Twitter/X.
Nix went 15-of-24 passing for 146 yards with one touchdown, no turnovers and no sacks in the first half. He also had a five-yard carry before the break.
