Match time is to be determined. The winner of MU-Western Kentucky will face the winner of second-seeded Louisville vs. Loyola (Ill.)

The Golden Eagles are already familiar with the Hilltoppers after earning a sweep in Mendoza's first home match at the Al McGuire Center on Sept. 5.

MU is making its 14th appearance in the NCAA tournament in the last 15 seasons, with the only absence coming during the COVID-impacted season of 2021 when the field was reduced.

Last season, the Golden Eagles made the Sweet 16 for the third time, losing to eventual national champion Penn State.

MU is led by all-Big East selections Hattie Bray and Natalie Ring – both Wisconsin natives – and Big East co-freshman of the year Isabela Haggard.
