The Tampa Bay Buccaneers managed to get a much-needed win, downing the Arizona Cardinals 20-17 at Raymond James Stadium to move to 7-5.

The Buccaneers weren't on top of their game on both sides of the ball, but they did enough to halt the slide and get back into the winner's circle.

And it took a little bit of trickery to get there.

As the Buccaneers were facing a third-and-goal with under two minutes left in the first half, Baker Mayfield dropped back and found tackle Tristan Wirfs, yes, a big man, for a touchdown as the stadium erupted.

And when asked about the play post-game, Mayfield was all smiles.

"I think he was more nervous, if it was Luke [Goedeke], Luke would have been begging for it, very different individuals there," a smiling Mayfield said. "He did a great job, he's a good athlete, made a good catch."

Bucky Irving has positive return vs. Cardinals

It has been a long time since we've seen Bucky Irving on an NFL field, and against the Cardinals, the young running back made sure his return was one to remember.

Yes, the Buccaneers won the game, and Irving would post 61 rushing yards and a touchdown from his 17 carries, while also posting 20 receiving yards from two catches.

Irving back in the offense does wonders for Josh Grizzard's unit, and now that they have snapped their three-game losing streak and got Irving back into the fold, it was perhaps the perfect afternoon for the NFC South champs.

And when you add in Wirfs' big man touchdown to the mix, yeah, it was a happy Week 14 for Tampa Bay.
