-Cleveland strung together another decent drive early on, but a formation penalty, followed by a sack, forced them to punt instead of getting points.
-The Browns’ defense continued playing strong.
-Cleveland strung together a drive before the end of the half that started at their own 10 yard line, utilizing 9 straight runs to success, before trying their first pass with under a minute to go: a 34-yard touchdown pass from QB Shedeur Sanders to TE Harold Fannin. After too many men on the field for San Francisco on the extra point, Cleveland went for two, and Judkins got it from the Wildcat for the lead.
-San Francisco got in field goal range within the final few seconds of the half, getting a short field goal to make it 10-8.
