The New Orleans Saints have suffered a lot of low points during the 2025 season, but one thing that has remained a consistent bright spot is the presence of Cameron Jordan. The defensive end has hit multiple milestones this season and throughout his career, including multiple within a singular contest. Such was the case on Sunday.
Jordan surpassed Pro Football Hall of Fame linebacker Derrick Thomas for spot. No. 18 on the all-time sack leaders list with 127th career takedown early on in the first quarter as he brought quarterback Tua Tagovailoa to the ground. But he wasn't done yet, sacking Tagovailoa yet again in the second half to tie the legendary Rickey Jackson at No. 17 with a total of 128 sacks.
But this accomplishment is about more than climbing up the ranks in the record books, it is also putting a ton of money in Jordan's pockets. With those two sacks, Jordan collected $600,000 within the first two quarters of the game. Jordan headed into the season with five sacks to go until he was to earn a $300,000 bonus. The sixth sack doubled that total. When the standout defender reaches his seventh sack, he will unlock an additional $400,000 bonus.
