By Matthew CoudenShareNewsweek is a Trust Project memberWWE star Paul Heyman was a significant part of Saturday's Survivor Series: WarGames, where he represented a massive roster in the main event. However, he went viral for what he did after the event, as cameras captured him in a surprising interaction involving a fan.
The premium live event featured Heyman's team of Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, Drew McIntyre, and Brock Lesnar. They battled a team featuring World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, The Usos, and Roman Reigns.
It appeared that the superior team might be the side with the champions, as each of the babyface stars connected on moves to put down Lesnar for a pinfall attempt. However, Logan made a huge save, and ultimately, Bron connected with a spear and a pinfall on CM Punk.

That allowed the heel squad, with Heyman doing most of the speaking, to get an appearance on the Survivor Series: WarGames post-show on ESPN to discuss their win and what's next.
...However, something else didn't get onto the ESPN app's coverage. A fan-captured video from after the event has since circulated online, with other fans sharing their thoughts about what happened.
A video clip shows Heyman walking through a crowd of people with Logan Paul and Bronson Reed a few steps behind him. There are also police and security guards helping them get through the crowd to the stage for the post-show.
A young fan suddenly emerges from the crowd and puts his hands on Heyman's chest and suit, prompting Heyman to shove the fan away. Others nearby step in to hold the fans and crowd back as Heyman keeps walking.

"Some of y’all defend fans getting too close but the moment a wrestler reacts, suddenly it’s 'unprofessional' — pick a side because safety ain’t optional," one X commenter said.
"Paul Heyman is staying in character. The kid will be fine," another X commenter said.
"A heel doing heelish things! Fair play to Heyman," someone wrote in support of Heyman.
Most commenters seemed to support Heyman's reaction to the fan putting their hands on him. Things can get a bit too close for comfort and dangerous due to WWE talents' proximity to fans at various events. It's actually not the first time moments involving fans rushing or touching performers have gone viral.
There have been infamous fan interactions involving Seth Rollins, Bret "The Hitman" Hart, and CM Punk, in which either the fans retaliated against or were quickly taken down by nearby security and WWE personnel.
