The Pittsburgh Steelers are reportedly set to take a brutal blow to their offensive line.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementAccording to Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the expectation is that left tackle Broderick Jones will miss the remainder of the 2025 campaign with his neck injury.
Dulac notes that the injury is worse than initially feared and the second-year tackle is not expected back this season.
"Broderick Jones has a neck injury that is more serious than originally thought and will miss the remainder of the 2025 season, per sources," Dulac reported.
Jones suffered the injury in Week 12 and has since been placed on injured reserve, which knocks him out for at least the next four games.
While Jones wasn't having a great year by any means, he has been playing better of late, so he will be missed.

Peat hasn't played regular snaps at left tackle since 2023, when he surrendered two sacks and 30 pressures in 476 pass-blocking snaps.
Peat has been on the decline for a few years now, so it won't be shocking if starting him over Anderson blows up in Pittsburgh's face.
However, we would assume the Steelers will have quick hook with Peat and will go to Anderson if things go south. Whether or not Anderson proves to be any better remains to be seen, though.
