The Spartans held on late to knock off Maryland in the final game of the season, winning by the final score of 38-28. Michigan State held a 17-point lead at halftime, but needed a fourth down conversion late in the game to stave off a comeback effort from the Terps.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementMichigan State quarterback Alessio Milivojevic threw for nearly 300 yards and four touchdowns in the win. Each of his touchdown passes were to different players, including Nick Marsh who found the endzone for the first time in five games.
With the win, Michigan State finishes the 2025 season with a 4-8 overall record and 1-8 mark in Big Ten play. Saturday's win over the Terps snapped an eight-game losing streak for Michigan State and was their first win of Big Ten play this year.
