When the New York Jets take on the Atlanta Falcons in Week 13, wide receiver Garrett Wilson will once again be out of the lineup.

Wilson missed time earlier in the season with a hyperextended knee injury, and the Jets wideout re-aggravated the issue in Week 10, which led to his placement on injured reserve.

After Week 13, Wilson will have missed three games in a row. Here's when we can expect him back.

When is Garrett Wilson coming back?

Wilson's placement on injured reserve in Week 11 meant he has to miss at least four games. After the game against the Falcons, he'll be up to three.

That means Wilson will first be eligible to come off injured reserve in Week 15 versus the Jacksonville Jaguars.

According to ESPN's Rich Cimini, Wilson's initial recovery timeline was "at least three to four weeks," so that gives him a shot to suit up when first eligible.

However, the "at least" part also suggests it could be longer than that.

"New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson is expected to miss at least three to four weeks with a right knee sprain, a source told ESPN on Monday," Cimini reported on Nov. 10.

One thing the Jets will have to weigh is whether or not it makes sense to bring Wilson back this season at all.

It really doesn't, as the Jets aren't going to the playoffs and they don't have a rookie quarterback that Wilson's presence will help develop.

But we also know that head coach Aaron Glenn is very competitive and wants to win as many games as possible from here on out to make his first season look better, even if it comes at the cost of a higher draft pick.

Knowing that, we would suspect Wilson will be back this season, and most likely by Week 16, at the latest.
