Here's who KC Chiefs fans should root for in Sunday's Week 13 games

The Kansas City Chiefs have found themselves in a position where they need some help to punch their ticket to the 2025 NFL Playoffs.

At 6-6, the Chiefs are officially "on the bubble," and if the season were to end today, Kansas City would find itself eliminated from playoff contention.

But, with five games left to play in the regular season, the Chiefs could still turn their fortunes around, especially if other teams cooperate with Kansas City's comeback campaign over the next few weeks.

Here's who Chiefs fans should root for in Week 13:

Buffalo Bills vs. Pittsburgh Steelers: Root for Steelers

Kansas City is competing with Buffalo for a Wild Card spot, given that it seems the New England Patriots will win the AFC East this season. Pittsburgh currently leads the AFC North, so a win over the Bills wouldn't keep Kansas City out of the Wild Card.

Los Angeles Chargers vs. Las Vegas Raiders: Root for Raiders

The Raiders have virtually no chance to make the playoffs, while Los Angeles is currently in line to earn the AFC's No. 5 seed with a 7-4 record. A Las Vegas win could potentially aid the Chiefs' playoff aspirations, especially if a loss to the Raiders turns into a losing streak for the Chargers.

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Tennessee Titans: Root for Titans

The Jaguars are 7-4, so Kansas City won't be able to overtake Jacksonville in the playoff standings even if the Titans pull off an improbable upset in this game. But every game counts, and the Chiefs can use all the help they can get from a 1-10 Tennessee team.

Indianapolis Colts vs. Houston Texans: Root for Colts

If Indianapolis can defeat Houston, the Chiefs and Texans will have the same record when they face off at Arrowhead Stadium in Week 14. Thus, Kansas City would conceivably be able to separate itself from Houston in the playoff picture next Sunday, while the Colts maintain their stranglehold on the AFC South.

Baltimore Ravens vs. Cincinnati Bengals: Root for Bengals

The Ravens could pose a threat to Kansas City in the final weeks of the regular season if Baltimore continues to keep pace with the Chiefs. Kansas City has a head-to-head advantage over the Ravens after defeating Baltimore in Week 4, but an extra leg-up certainly wouldn't hurt the Chiefs.

Denver Broncos vs. Washington Commanders: Root for Commanders

A Washington win wouldn't affect Kansas City, and while the Chiefs are unlikely to catch the Broncos to win another AFC West title, a loss this week might send Denver on a late-season skid that could be beneficial for the reigning conference champions.
