The Georgia Bulldogs (11-1, 7-1 SEC) will play the Alabama Crimson Tide (10-2, 7-1 SEC) in the 2025 SEC championship game. Georgia will be back at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, one week after beating rivals Georgia Tech 16-9. Alabama is coming off an emotional 27-20 win over Auburn in the Iron Bowl.
Georgia and Alabama already met earlier this season with the Crimson Tide winning 24-21 on the road. The defeat was Georgia's lone loss of the season. Alabama and Georgia have taken different paths to make the SEC championship, but both teams have played their best against ranked opposition this season.

Georgia is the defending 2024 SEC champions. Alabama has not made the SEC championship until this season under second-year head coach Kalen DeBoer. The Crimson Tide last won the 2023 SEC championship and have the most SEC titles in conference history.
