Nebraska completes perfect regular season with sweep over Ohio State

Nebraska (30-0, 20-0) wrapped up the 2025 regular season late Saturday night, hosting Ohio State (6-22, 3-17). The Huskers swept the Buckeyes (25-16, 25-13, 25-20), completing the regular season with a perfect record for just the third time in program history and the first time in 25 years.

This also marks Nebraska's first unbeaten conference season since 2004 and its first since joining the Big Ten. All of this, along with the Huskers celebrating senior night, honoring Rebekah Allick, Maisie Boesiger, Taylor Landfair and Allie Sczech.

Nebraska performed well offensively, hitting 48-of-92 for a .435 attack percentage. The Huskers also held Ohio State to 33 kills off 92 attacks and a .174 hitting percentage, capitalizing on the Buckeyes' 24 total errors. Nebraska also posted eight blocks, four service aces and 34 digs.

Harper Murray and Andi Jackson combined for 17 kills on the night with Murray earning nine and Jackson hitting eight. Jackson, especially, finished with a stellar match, going 8-of-10 with no errors and posting three blocks. Allick tallied seven kills off 12 attacks and led Nebraska in blocks, putting up four. Sczech hit 6-of-12 in the win and snatched three blocks.

Virginia Adriano and Manaia Ogbechie each tallied five kills on the night with no errors, earning their shares off seven attacks and six attacks, respectively. Landfair finished with four kills off 11 attacks and posted two blocks. Bergen Reilly grabbed two kills off three attacks and recorded a team-high 27 set assists and eight digs. Boesiger led the Huskers in digs, snatching 13 on the night.

Nebraska now waits for the tournament brackets, which will, without a doubt, go through Lincoln. The tournament is set to begin next Thursday night.
