Former NFL quarterback and current ESPN NFL analysis Dan Orlovsky is clearly a fan of Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love.
Though Orlovsky is perhaps best known for one of the biggest gaffs in NFL history as a player, he has become one of the more spot-on football analysts in the country.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisement"Game recognize game" as the kids say, and Orlovsky had some harsh words for anyone who still doesn't believe that Love is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL.
A day after Love threw four touchdowns in Green Bay's massive Thanksgiving Day win against the Detroit Lions, Orlovsky had this to say.
"If you watch yesterdays @packers game and you don’t clearly think Love is one of the best QBs and throwers of the football in the NFL you’re a dumb dumb," the NFL analyst wrote on X," the platform formerly known as Twitter.
The eye test would prove Orlovsky right. Love has really come into his own now that he's in his sixth NFL season after being selected in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

Against Detroit, he made clutch play after clutch play. That included two touchdown throws on fourth down and then the game-sealing throw to Dontayvion Wicks on fourth down late in the game.
The eye test says yes, but the numbers back up the fact that Love is playing at an elite level as well.
It used to be that Love would be good for one incredible throw a game and one throw that would make your head hurt. He's been playing incredible football lately, though. Love hasn't thrown an interception in four-straight games and he's thrown only one over his last seven.

His average passer rating of 104.3 is sixth best in the NFL behind just Matthew Stafford, Drake Maye, Jared Goff, Sam Darnold and Lamar Jackson. His average QBR of 73.2 is second best amongst all NFL quarterbacks behind only Dak Prescott.
In fact, Love is on a short list of players being mentioned for the NFL MVP award at this point of the season.
It's all coming together for Love, and if you can't see that...like Orlovsky said...you're a dumb dumb.
