On Friday night, the Texas Longhorns ended their regular season with their biggest win of the year. They stunned the college football world by beating No. 3 Texas A&M 27-17. While Texas got contributions from everyone on the roster, Quintrevion Wisner set the tone on offense with his best game of the season.
The Texas native recorded a season high 155 rushing yards on 19 carries. On a night when Texas recorded 218 yards on the ground, he was the only Longhorns player with more than 53. He also made an impact through the air, hauling two passes for 19 yards.
Although Wisner didn't find the end zone, he made an impact every time he touched the ball and helped Texas wind down the clock. That was key as the Longhorns' offense didn't come alive until the second half. While this season has not gone as planned for the talented junior, he showed why he is an important piece.

However, he has been limited by injuries and an offensive line that has gone through growing pains. Against the Aggies, that was all put in the rearview mirror as Wisner eclipsed 100 rushing yards for the first time this season.
As Wisner continued to thrive against the Longhorns' rivals, he also kept Texas's playoff hopes alive. While they finished the regular season with three losses, they did beat three top ten teams. That could help them earn a College Football Playoff berth, which would not have been possible without a win on Friday.
While the Longhorns will have to be patient as they wait to find out what their playoff hopes are, Wisner did everything he could against Texas A&M to keep them alive. Regardless of how the next few weeks play out, it is a performance Longhorns fans will never forget.
