The Carolina Panthers have added a former first-round pick to their active roster here in Week 13.
As announced on Saturday afternoon, the team has elevated linebacker Isaiah Simmons for tomorrow's matchup against the NFC-leading Los Angeles Rams. The five-year veteran was signed to Carolina's practice squad this past Tuesday.

The Clemson University Standout played in 50 games over three seasons for the Cardinals—amassing 258 combined tackles, 7.5 sacks, four interceptions and seven forced fumbles.
His last regular-season snap came in 2024, as a member of the New York Giants. Simmons would then spend this past summer with the Green Bay Packers.
Along with Simmons, the Panthers have also called up guard Saahdiq Charles. Charles, a fourth-rounder from 2020, will provide depth on the interior offensive line after Chandler Zavala's placement on injured reserve.
