Should Ohio State have been awarded its second-quarter touchdown against Michigan football?
Early in the second quarter, Ohio State quarterback Julian Sayin found receiver Jeremiah Smith for a 35-yard touchdown on a fourth-and-5 play with less than 12 minutes left to give OSU a 10-6 lead. However, there is disagreement about the play.

By rule, the referees could have called the play a touchback as he bobbled the ball out of bounds. Fox rules analyst Mike Pereira thought the call would be overturned, as did game analyst Joel Klatt.
Instead, the initial touchdown call was upheld, giving Ohio State a 10-6 lead following the converted extra point.
