The Texas Tech football team will get its rematch with BYU in the Big 12 Championship game, and it's thanks to an unlikely source.
Arizona defeated Arizona State on Friday night, Nov. 28, in the Territorial Cup, which moved the Wildcats to 9-3 on the season. The game's result, per the Big 12 Conference, means Texas Tech and BYU will both be headed to AT&T Stadium in Arlington to settle the league's champion and automatic berth into the College Football Playoff.

This will mark the first appearance in the Big 12 title game for both Texas Tech and BYU.
The game is set for 11 a.m. Central on Saturday, Dec. 6, and will air nationally on ABC. Texas Tech visits West Virginia and BYU hosts UCF today to close the regular season.
