(WJHL) — Now that everyone has fattened up on turkey, today was the time to run it off if you were participating in a holiday high school basketball tournament like the Hardee’s Classic in Jonesborough and the Valley Forge Auction Classic in Carter County.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementIn the first semi-final, the Volunteer Falcons hosted the Cocke Co. Fighting Cocks, and the Falcons came back from 12 down to win 77-73. In the nightcap, the host school, David Crockett Pioneers, hosted the South Greene Rebels, who pulled away to win 63-52.
We now head to Happy Valley for the Valley Forge Auction Classic, where the Lady Rangers faced the Lady Vikings of Tennessee High, and after a 26-8 run, Tennessee High won 55-48.
