The FHSAA has been updating its power rankings after each round of the playoffs. The next update is scheduled for Nov. 30.

Here's a look at what the state semifinal matchups would be based on the latest FHSAA power rankings.

Class 7A

No. 4 Miami Palmetto (11-2) at No. 1 Vero Beach (13-0)

No. 3 Venice (8-3) at No. 2 Lake Mary (10-3)

Confidence level: Pretty high. Lake Mary knocking off DeLand pretty much locked this order in place.

Class 6A

Buchholz wide receiver Justin Williams (13) hails in a touchdown pass under pressure from Oviedo cornerback Jaiden McNeil (12) during the 2025 FHSAA Football 6A quarter final at Citizens Field in Gainesville, FL on Thursday, November 13, 2025. No. 4 West Broward (11-2) at No. 1 Buchholz (12-1)

No. 3 West Boca (11-2) at No. 2 Armwood (13-0)

Confidence level: Pretty high. Buchholz and Armwood are set in the top two spots. West Boca has a lead of more than a point over West Broward.

Class 5A

No. 4 Riverdale (12-1) at No. 1 St. Thomas Aquinas (12-1)

No. 3 Ponte Vedra (11-2) at No. 2 Lakeland (11-2)

Confidence level: Pretty low. Aquinas and Lakeland will be the top two seeds, but it's a bit of guess as to how it will shake out. Lakeland trails by half a point, but will beating a 12-win Edgewater carry more weight than Aquinas beating a 10-win McArthur team.

Class 4A

Jones DL Fred Ards III jogs off the field after a strip sack in a game against Lake Wales, Oct. 10, 2025.Jones DL Fred Ards III jogs off the field after a strip sack in a game against Lake Wales, Oct. 10, 2025.

No. 4 Port Charlotte (11-2) at No. 1 Jones (11-2)

No. 3 American Heritage (7-5) at No. 2 Choctawhatchee (12-1)

Confidence level: Low. Coming into the regional championships, the top three seeds were separated by less than a point. Choctaw trails Jones by less than a point and just beat an 11-win St. Augustine team.

Class 3A

Raines' Timothy Cole (4) looks to pass during the second quarter of a high school football matchup at Raines High School, Friday, Oct. 17, 2025, in Jacksonville, Fla. If Northwestern beats Central

No. 4 Bishop Moore (12-1) at No. 1 Northwestern (12-0)

No. 3 Booker (12-1) at No. 2 Raines (12-0)

Confidence level: High. These teams all have some separation, and the lone win that really moves the needle on the power rankings is Northwestern beating Central.

If Central beats Northwestern

No. 4 Bishop Moore (12-1) at No. 1 Raines (12-0)

No. 3 Central (11-1) at No. 2 Booker (12-1)

Confidence level: Pretty low. A Central win over previously undefeated Northwestern would certainly impact the ratings. The only question is if it would be enough for the Rockets to make the jump of more than two points to pass Raines for the No. 1 seed.

Class 2A

No. 4 Cocoa (8-4) at No. 1 Cardinal Mooney (12-1)

No. 3 Cardinal Gibbons (10-3) at No. 2 Bolles (12-1)

Confidence level: Pretty low. The top two seeds are locked in. Gibbons led Cocoa by .009 points heading into the regional finals. Wouldn't be a surprise at all if these two flip seeds.

Class 1A

Chaminade-Madonna receiver Denairius Gray catches a touchdown pass over West Boca Raton defender C.J Jackson during the preseason kickoff classic in Boca Raton, Florida, on August 14, 2025.Chaminade-Madonna receiver Denairius Gray catches a touchdown pass over West Boca Raton defender C.J Jackson during the preseason kickoff classic in Boca Raton, Florida, on August 14, 2025.

No. 4 Trinity Christian (9-4) at No. 1 Chaminade-Madonna (10-2)

No. 3 Cardinal Newman (10-3) at No. 2 Carrollwood Day (12-0)

Confidence level: Pretty low. Chaminade-Madonna, Carrollwood Day and Cardinal Newman are separated by less than 1.3 points. The question then becomes which regional championship win will carry the most weight.
