PASADENA, California, Nov. 28 — The No. 4/SN No. 3 Centennial [Corona, CA] Huskies will take on the No. 9/SN No. 25 Santa Margarita [Rancho Santa Margarita, CA] Eagles Friday night in California's CIF Southern Section championship.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementThe game is a rematch of their game on August 28 when the Eagles pulled off a 33-27 upset in overtime on Centennial's home field.
Centennial hasn't lost since while Santa Margarita has had its ups and downs playing a more difficult schedule en route to a 9-3 record. Still, they've managed to work their way back into position to possibly win the a championship in the toughest division in the country.
The Eagles are playing their first season under Santa Margarita alum and Heisman Trophy winner Carson Palmer.
