The Chicago Bears made a statement with a 24-15 win over the Philadelphia Eagles, where they defeated the Super Bowl champions in dominant fashion that isn't even reflected in the score. The Bears are now 9-3, have won five straight and remain atop the NFC North.

Chicago's offense had a massive showing on the ground, rushing for 281 yards, while the defense held Philadelphia's offense to 87 rushing yards, nine points before garbage time and forced two turnovers in front of a worldwide audience on Black Friday.

Following the game, the Bears social team released a video inside the winning locker room, where head coach Ben Johnson addressed his team after the statement victory -- and helped feed Chicago fans in the promise.

"Man, I'm so proud of you guys," Johnson said. "We took a short week, and you took no shortcuts. We talked about the team that made more mistakes was going to lose that game. You guys didn't do it. You played your best ball for 60 minutes. Well done."

Johnson handed out game balls to cornerback Nahshon Wright and the entire Bears offensive line for their impressive showings. Wright, who's been a key contributor all season amid an injured secondary, recorded his eighth takeaway of the season with a forced and recovered fumble on a Tush Push in the third quarter. Meanwhile, Chicago's offensive line paved the way for running back duo D'Andre Swift and Kyle Monangai to contribute to a 281-yard rushing day.

The Bears recorded their fifth straight win and ninth in the last 10 games while retaining their first-place stance in the NFC North and sit as the No. 2 seed in the NFC. But they have another tough matchup when they hit the road to face the Green Bay Packers in Week 14. We'll see if they can make it two straight against Green Bay.
