The Eagles are 8-4 and showing signs of 2023 after losing their second straight game in ugly fashion. After blowing a 21-point lead to Dallas last Sunday, Philadelphia was dominated by the Chicago offensive line as the Bears racked up 281 rushing yards and 425 total yards, as Ben Johnson's team is now 9-3 and the second-best record in the NFC.

Philadelphia is tied with Kansas City for the 2nd-highest home winning percentage (.833, 30-6) in the NFL since 2022 (including playoffs), behind Buffalo (.838, 31-6), but looked out of sorts as Jalen Hurts had a fumble and threw one interception on the afternoon. A.J. Brown had 100 yards, but Saquon Barkley again was held under 100 yards and finished with just 56 yards (4.3 avg) on 13 carries.

With preparation for the Chargers set to begin, we're looking at instant analysis of the ugly 24-15 loss to the Bears on Black Friday.

Ben Johnson

Whether it's the upgraded offensive line, play action passes, motion in his offense, and the willingness to run the Eagles out of the building, Ben Johnson has firmly established himself as the top young head coach in the NFL, and he was the best coach on the field Friday. Chicago played smash-mouth football and dominated the Super Bowl champions.

Eagles' offensive line

Speaking of smash-mouth football, the two teams traded spots, as the Bears' offensive line was dominant and looked like the best unit on the field and in the NFL. The Bears racked up 281 rushing yards and 425 total yards, as Ben Johnson's team is now 9-3 and the second-best record in the NFC.

Bears RB duo

D'Andre Swift and Kyle Monangai are the first Bears duo to each have 100+ rushing yards in the same game since Walter Payton and Matt Suhey in Week 10 of the 1985 season. Swift had 18 carries for 125 yards and one touchdown, while Monangai logged 22 carries for 130 yards and two scores.
