Liverpool will be left with no choice but to sack Arne Slot if the players do not start responding, according to the Independent journalist Miguel Delaney. He was referencing someone with the knowledge of the Liverpool hierarchy in his ‘Inside Football’ bi-weekly newsletter today. The Anfield club have lost nine of their last 12 games across all competitions and pressure is beginning to mount on their manager.

Slot is struggling to get a response out of his players as it does not appear they are playing for him, which could prove costly if the results do not change.
“And, as one figure with knowledge of the Liverpool hierarchy said, “if the players still aren’t responding, there is no other choice”,” Delaney wrote in his newsletter.
The Reds are back in action on Sunday when they visit the London Stadium to take on West Ham United before hosting Sunderland next Wednesday. Liverpool would have been favourites to win the two games at the beginning of the season but they have become unpredictable and most clubs will fancy their chances against them at the moment.
