We've seen deals before on the Samsung SmartTag 2, but it always required buying a bundle in order to get one for a good price. Luckily, that's not the case this Black Friday, as Amazon has dropped the price of just one SmartTag to just $8, which quite frankly, is something we didn't quite expect. So, if you're someone that's been thinking about buying a smart tag to keep track of your things, this is going be one of the best ways to test one out.

Get it if you have a Samsung phone or tablet

Despite it being an amazing product, there is one major drawback, which is that it only works with Samsung Galaxy devices. So, if you have a Pixel, OnePlus, or other Android product, you'll want to skip this one. But, if you have a Samsung phone or tablet, this is the one to get because it works extremely well to keep track of your lost items.

Small, but packed with features

This SmartTag is easy to pop into a pocket, throw in your luggage, or just attach to whatever you need in order to keep track of your things. It's extremely durable, with an IP67 rating, which means it can survive even in the worst conditions. The battery life is also quite good, lasting up to 700 days if needed.

Precise tracking is a must

While you'll get instant access to the location of the smart tag through maps, things get even more interesting the closer you get, with precise direction to the location of the device thanks to UWB. This makes a world of difference when you're panicking and trying to find something and need pinpoint accuracy. There's also an audible chime that can be used if you can't visually see it.

The price makes it worth it

It doesn't seem like it would be worth it, but there's been plenty of times I pull up a smart tag on my screen and feel relief knowing my stuff hasn't moved or that it's where I thought it was. It's a small price to pay for piece of mind so we recommend picking one up if you've been looking to give one a try.
