The Kentucky Wildcats defeated Tennessee Tech in their pre-Thanksgiving matchup by a final score of 104-54. The Wildcats got a big game from one of their sophomore guards, Harlan native Trent Noah.

Noah, who has been banged up a little bit this season, hasn’t seen the floor much, only averaging 11.1 minutes per game. However, the sharpshooting guard saw 21 minutes Wednesday night against Tennessee Tech and took full advantage.

Noah set a career high in points inside Rupp Arena against the Golden Eagles. His final stats came in at 16 points on 5-6 shooting from the floor, and he was 4-5 from three-point range. The 6-foot-5 SG was also active on the glass, ending the night with six rebounds.

Head coach Mark Pope has been trying to nail down the rotations and let Noah sling it from deep, as the Wildcats are only shooting roughly 32% from behind the arc this season. If Noah finds his groove, the ‘Cats should see that number rise throughout the season.

The Wildcats are back in action when the calendar flips to December, and they will take on the North Carolina Tar Heels in the ACC/SEC Challenge. The matchup is scheduled for Tuesday, December 2nd at 9:30 p.m. on ESPN.
