My Hero Academia's finale is fast approaching, and fans now have an official release date for the series' very last episode. Though the main action of the series is over, there is still quite a lot to go over for the series' epilogue. To get fans hyped, My Hero Academia released a promo image teasing the series' epilogue.
The image sees Deku smiling with a scar trailing down one of his eyes. Below the image, the release dates for the series' final three episodes are revealed, confirming that My Hero Academia's last three episodes will release on Crunchyroll on November 29th, December 6th, and December 13th.
My Hero Academia Gets Epic Three-Episode Conclusion

In addition to the promo images announcing the series' last three release dates, My Hero Academia's official X account teased the series' next episode, season 8, episode 9 "The Hellish Todoroki Family: Final", which should see My Hero Academia's Shoto finally get a chance to come to terms with what happened to Dabi.
While fans will likely focus on the images of Shoto and a bandaged Dabi, one of the most attention-grabbing pictures in the set of four is of Deku.
After the explosive events of his battle with Shigaraki, Deku is permanently changed. In addition to the kind of pseudo-mohawk hairstyle Deku is sporting, he also has a scar running down his right eye.
The battle clearly weighs on him, even as it appears that he returns to school with his uniform, as his face is sullen. Given that Deku is one of anime's most empathetic heroes, this makes sense, but it's still difficult to see such a cheery hero so clearly affected by everything he's gone through.
My Hero Academia's Three-Episode Conclusion is More Significant Than It First Appears

A three-episode epilogue is no joke, and shows that Studio Bones is committed to ending My Hero Academia the right way.
The ending of My Hero Academia's manga was incredibly controversial, as it was considered rushed or too abrupt by many fans. This was subsequently fixed with post-release chapters that helped flesh out the world of the series' epilogue a little more.
Fortunately, signs point to Bones adapting these extra epilogue chapters, meaning that My Hero Academia's anime will most certainly end on the high note that many fans are expecting.
