The LSU Tigers face a tough Oklahoma side in the final game of the season on Saturday. Can LSU get a win and close out the season with a W?

From third down efficacy, player props, team defense/offense numbers, team totals and more, we will have a little bit of everything as we roll on this season. What will this week bring?

Last season we ended with a negative record for the first time, but still ended up positive because of some big swings we took odds wise (2022: 19-17, 2023: 19-17, 2024: 16-20) and we hope to do better this time around. We hope to earn a winning week this time. (14-19 in 2025)

Today, we take a look at predicting three specific areas for the team. Remember these are bold(ish) predictions. (All stats via CFBSTATS)

1 Oklahoma Third Down Conversion Rate UNDER 50%

The pick is 4-0, so why not take it again? The defense has been the only semi positive of this disastrous season, so let’s back them vs. a good Oklahoma team. They were under last week vs. Missouri and I like them to be hovering around it as well this week and it is why I will take it even if I do think Oklahoma will put up points.

2 Caden Durham UNDER 35.5 Yards Rushing

It feels like every week I pick the wrong side on a prop and last week with Durham was no different and as such I m back on the under. A bleh pick to a bleh season. The square will now probably go over, but I can’t take it in good conscience after the performance by, well, everyone last week.

Take Durham’s under.

3 Full Game OVER 36.5 (FanDuel -105)

A real chance to hit this one. This one has to come down to Oklahoma scoring a lot. As my final score prediction will indicate, while close in points relative to the over, this one seems fairly easy given the Sooners need to make this a showy win for playoff reasons. LSU have a decent defense, but once the offense can’t do anything, I can’t see any motivation to finish out the game and as such, bring me the over.

Final score prediction: LSU 10-28 Oklahoma
