Suppose you were a firm believer in landing Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice in your fantasy football draft this season despite the fact that he had to serve out a six-game suspension to start the year. In that case, you're probably feeling fairly happy about your decision right about now.

The Chiefs are teetering on the edge of missing the NFL playoffs after dropping a 31-28 loss to the Dallas Cowboys are moving to 6-6 overall on Thanksgiving Day, but it's hard to argue that Rice looked like a major bright spot for the Chiefs as he racked up 92 yards and two touchdowns on eight receptions for Kansas City in the game. And he was an even brighter spot to those with Rice in their fantasy football rotation, as he scored 29.4 fantasy points with his effort on the field. That's indeed a holiday performance to be thankful for.

Rice is looking more and more like he was worth the gamble for those who went to extra lengths to land him on their roster before the season began, even though he was not going to play in the first six games on the schedule. Rice has continued his elite performance both on the gridiron and in the world of fantasy football since his return six games ago, and now you'd be hard-pressed to find a receiver who has been more consistent long-term than Rice. He's scored 17.5-or-more fantasy points in every game he's played except one since the start of the 2024 season, and he is averaging 20 points per game over the same stretch of action.

The internet erupted on Thursday in response to Rice's wild performance, and it's hard to blame people – it was the type of performance that likely single-handedly won (and lost) some people their match-ups this week. Check out the top responses to his performance below, and if Rice is on your roster at the moment, well, be thankful. It is the right time of the year.
