This Thanksgiving meal had to taste extra satisfying for Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers.

Two years ago they were snubbed of the customary turkey legs after beating the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving, something that didn't go unnoticed by many on the team.

Love and Co. returned to Ford Field on the holiday on Thursday, Nov. 27. And Love and the Packers once again defeated the Lions, 31-24, at Ford Field behind Matt LaFleur's aggressive decision-making, Dontayvion Wicks' breakout game and an attacking defensive effort.

And this year, they're coming home full following a huge feast to complete a sweep of the Lions this season.

Love, awarded the Madden Thanksgiving MVP, was joined on the field after the win by the dominant Micah Parsons, Josh Jacobs, Rasheed Walker, Rashan Gary and others for the post-game meal.

"It’s special, it’s a big time stage to come out here and get a win on Thanksgiving," Love said. "I’m grateful for all these guys, grateful for everybody in the locker room, whole team we just got to keep rolling."

Love certainly is on a roll on Thanksgiving.

He has played on Thanksgiving every year during his time as the starting quarterback of the Green Bay Packers.

Not only have the Packers won each time [Green Bay also beat the Miami Dolphins last year at home], but Love has shined.
