A cinematic obsessive with the filmic palate of a starving raccoon, Rob London will watch pretty much anything once. With a mind like a steel trap, he's an endless fount of movie and TV trivia, borne from a misspent youth of watching monster movies on TV, perusing the sun-faded goods at the local video rental shop, and staining his fingers with ink from the Video Movie Guide. Areas of interest include science fiction, film noir, horror flicks, '70s disaster pictures, Bond movies, '90s action, giant robots, dinosaurs, super heroes, and the exuberantly schlocky output of Cannon Films. He also enjoys both Star Trek and Star Wars when they're good, and maybe even more when they're bad. As a Canadian, he also has a vested interest in Canadian movies and TV shows, especially the cheesier ones dubbed "Canuxploitation."
An expert on Marvel Comics, he has also written for the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe, and is a member of the Marvel Research Team. He can frequently be found pontificating on comic-book continuity or bemoaning the misfortunes of the Toronto Maple Leafs on his Twitter account.

If you're looking to catch up on AMC's Immortal Universe of Anne Rice adaptations before you can sink your fangs into the new season of Interview with the Vampire, Netflix has you covered. The second season of Mayfair Witches is headed to the streamer posthaste. It will be available to stream on December 1.
An adaptation of Rice's Lives of the Mayfair Witches series, Mayfair Witches stars Alexandra Daddario (True Detective) as Dr. Rowan Fielding, a neurosurgeon who begins exhibiting strange abilities, leading her to uncover that she's the secret scion of a powerful lineage of witches. She travels to New Orleans, where she meets her extended family, including Mayfair patriarch Cortland (Harry Hamlin, Clash of the Titans) and psychic cousin Moira (Alyssa Jirrels, Fatal Attraction); she also encounters Ciprien Grieve (Tongayi Chirisa, iZombie), an empathic agent of the supernatural-monitoring organization the Talamasca. However, Rowan's most fateful encounter is with Lasher (Jack Huston, Boardwalk Empire), an immortal being who has haunted her bloodline for generations. She'll have to decide if Lasher is friend or foe (or both) as she confronts powers beyond her comprehension.
What Do We Know About the Third Season of 'Mayfair Witches'?
While there is a third novel in the Lives of the Mayfair Witches series, 1994's Taltos, it is unclear how closely the third season of Mayfair Witches will follow it. With Lasher seemingly dead and Cortland possessed by the malevolent spirit of his dead father, Julien, season three will explore the history of witchcraft, including the Salem Witch Trials. Returning from the previous two seasons are Daddario, Hamlin, Chirisa, and Jirrels; new cast members include Michiel Huisman (Game of Thrones) as Michael, an innkeeper and carpenter who is Rowan's new love interest, James Frain (The Tudors), Eliza Scanlen (Little Women), and Betsy Brandt (Breaking Bad). The series also has a new co-showrunner in the form of Better Call Saul's Thomas Schnauz; he joins Esta Spalding (Da Vinci's Inquest), who created and showran the series for its first two seasons.
The Immortal Universe, a connected universe of series based on the works of Anne Rice, continues apace at AMC. Talamasca: The Secret Order recently wrapped its first season, and the third season of Interview with the Vampire, retitled The Vampire Lestat, is set to return next year.
Season two of Mayfair Witches will be available to stream on Netflix on December 1. Stay tuned to Collider for future updates.
