After releasing episodes consistently since it premiered back in October, Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage season 2 is taking a short break in light of Thanksgiving week. During its debut year, the Young Sheldon sequel series celebrated the holiday with a themed episode that gathered Mary, Missy, and Georgie on the screen for the first time since George unexpectedly died. For its sophomore cycle, however, the show is skipping it, as the majority of CBS' programming also takes a break this week.
Per CBS' official schedule, the network is airing the NCAA game between Duke and Arkansas starting at 8 PM ET. It will finish at around 10 PM ET, which means that the subsequent programming after Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage will also be impacted by this disruption.
When Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage Returns & What To Expect In The New Episode
Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage season 2's break is short-lived, luckily. CBS is eventually bringing back The Big Bang Theory spinoff to its usual schedule on December 4. In its return, Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage season 2, episode 7 releases, titled “A Bus Bench and Faith out the Wazoo.” In it, the show revives Audrey and Mary’s feud as Georgie needs their help with the tire store. Meanwhile, Jim is forced to come to terms about his age as he visits the DMV.
Interestingly, this marks Mary's second time appearing in Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage season 2, the first time being when she first brought up the idea of dating again. It's curious if the issue will be addressed when she returns, but what's clear is that CBS is not ready to drop the conflict between her and Audrey just yet.
