CAN 2025: FIFA sets deadline for clubs to release players!

CAF and FIFA have made a major announcement: all clubs must release their players before December 8 to allow for their participation in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, which will be held in Morocco from December 21, 2025 to January 18, 2026. This measure ensures that national teams have a full preparation period ahead of the tournament kickoff.

The groups for CAN 2025 are:

Group A: Morocco, Mali, Zambia, Comoros.

Group B: Egypt, South Africa, Angola, Zimbabwe.

Group C: Nigeria, Tunisia, Uganda, Tanzania.

Group D: Senegal, Democratic Republic of Congo, Benin, Botswana.

Group E: Algeria, Burkina Faso, Equatorial Guinea, Sudan.
