Leger Douzable predicts Broncos will beat Eagles in the Super Bowl

The Denver Broncos are suddenly a hot pick to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl.

In addition to Colin Cowherd and Cam Skattebo, Leger Douzable of CBS Sports also has the Broncos reaching the Super Bowl this season. He projected last week that Denver will beat the Buffalo Bills in the divisional round before defeating the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC championship game.

Douzable has the Philadelphia Eagles representing the NFC in this year's Big Game, and he's backing the Broncos to defeat the defending Super Bowl champions, just as they did in Week 5.

"People would be probably pulling their hair out if this is the matchup, because we could get like a 7-10 game, which I would love because that's high-quality football," Douzable said of a potential Broncos-Eagles showdown.

So, who wins?

"I think the Denver Broncos get it done," Douzable said. "I know people will say the Eagles have been there before, they have an opportunity for back-to-back chances to win it, I just think this is a special (Broncos) defense. It reminds me so much of that 2015 defense."

Say no more, Douzable. Broncos fans are on board.
