These are the top 3 HBO Max shows to binge this weekend, November 28–30, 2025.
After Thanksgiving dinner and Black Friday shopping are all wrapped up, there’s no better way to spend the long holiday weekend than diving into an immersive, binge-worthy series.
Screen Rant’s weekend lineup features three fan-approved HBO Max hits – from viral new releases to critically acclaimed masterpieces – that are all Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes and now trending worldwide.
Don’t miss these addictive, must-watch, and highly talked-about HBO Max series this holiday weekend. Also, check out our updated binge guides for all major streaming platforms below.
It's Florida, Man
From the producers of The Righteous Gemstones comes the offbeat original comedy series It's Florida, Man, which will drop its season 2 premiere this Friday, November 28, on HBO Max. New episodes will be released every Friday until January 2, 2026.
Featuring a loaded cast of comedians and comic actors like Adam Devine, Sam Richardson, Johnny Knoxville, Shea Whigham, Bert Kreischer, Bobby Lee, Haley Joel Osment, and more, It's Florida, Man is a must-watch for comedy fans on HBO Max this weekend.
The Pitt
If you're new to HBO Max and are already looking to make the most of your subscription, binge-watching The Pitt this weekend is about as good as it gets. The acclaimed medical drama made a statement by winning Outstanding Drama Series at the 2025 Emmys earlier this year.
The Pitt season 1 – which earned a 95% Rotten Tomatoes score – consists of 15 episodes, which together capture just one shift at a Pittsburgh hospital. Season 2 is set to premiere on January 8, 2026, and season 3 is already in development, making this series essentially required viewing for all HBO Max subscribers.
The Chair Company
The Chair Company is one of the funniest new HBO comedy series of 2025 and one of the platform's biggest streaming hits this Fall. If you've been sleeping on the Tim Robinson comedy/thriller hybrid series, now is the perfect time to dive in with its season 1 finale dropping on Sunday, November 30.
The Chair Company earned a perfect 100% Certified Fresh Rotten Tomatoes score, which makes it one of the most critically acclaimed series of all time. If there's only one show you can binge on HBO Max this Thanksgiving weekend, make it The Chair Company and see what all the hype is about.
